The definition of Renewal: The Act or Process of Making Something New Again, Restoring It, Extending Its Life.....

Barnsdall is at the forefront of community development initiatives, focusing on sustainable future projects aimed at revitalizing the area. Through these urban renewal projects, the community is transforming into a vibrant space for residents and visitors alike.

Barnsdall's Long Term Recovery Group

After the May 6th storm, it was clear that the path to recovery would be a long one, particularly for our community development initiatives. With various groups involved in the restoration efforts, there was a need for a team to coordinate with the partners who were assisting us. Thus, the Long Term Recovery Group was formed as a conduit to ensure these efforts were effectively managed. This team is dedicated not only to recovery but also to implementing sustainable future projects and urban renewal projects that will enhance our community. The team includes: Kathy Gott, Melynna Hutchinson, Johnna Kelley, Lisa Yarber, Rick Loggins, Steve Hughes, Jason Byers, Dr. Sayra Bryant, and Marissa Turley.

Barnsdall's Renewal Partners

The partnerships formed during this process have been invaluable in supporting sustainable future projects for our residents. We owe our progress to the incredible organizations that have contributed to urban renewal projects in our area.
